A Honky-tonk Love Story uniquely Austin
In the heart of Austin, where the vibrant music scene meets the creative streets of the East Side, Becca and Andy's love story unfolded. Undeniably one of the cutest couples I’ve had the pleasure of meeting, their journey from friends to Lovebirds is an innocent tale that will soon lead them down the aisle.
The Nostalgic Dance Hall:
For their Engagement Shoot, Becca and Andy wanted a setting that would capture the essence of their story. They chose to do it in one of Austin's most nostalgic dance halls since after all, weekly dance lessons have been a bonding moment for the two since the start. The White Horse is a mainstay for East Austin’s unique live music experience close to downtown. This venue provides the perfect backdrop with classic East Austin street scenes to boot.
A Destination Wedding with a Twist:
Andy and Becca decided to take their love to new heights by celebrating their wedding with a destination ceremony in the picturesque landscapes of Scotland amongst good friends and love ones(not pictured, unfortunately). To add a touch of their Texan roots to the celebration, they made a unique agreement with a local friend.
In a cultural exchange, During their wedding in Scotland the couple and a friend who lives locally will embark on a mission to teach their guests two distinct dance styles: the Texas Two Step and traditional Scottish Dance.
While Andy and Becca might be newcomers to the world of Two Step, they've been diligently learning the basics and even indulging in some more advanced moves, as evidenced by the photos provided. The images capture their dedication, enthusiasm, and the joy they find in each other's arms.
The photos from their very special Honkytonk Engagement Shoot radiate the lighthearted romance that the couple share. The chemistry between them is palpable, a testament to the genuine bond they've built over the years from longtime friends into soon to be newlyweds.
